These terms govern your use of Sinomancy (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Sinomancy computes traditional Chinese and Western divination charts — Four Pillars (BaZi), I Ching hexagrams, tarot spreads and Chinese name numerology — from the information you provide, and presents interpretations of those charts. The calculations are deterministic; the interpretations are generated with the assistance of AI and are constrained to the computed chart.
2. For cultural interest and entertainment only
The Service is provided for cultural, educational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice. No outcome, result or prediction is promised or guaranteed. You remain solely responsible for your own decisions. If you need professional help, consult a qualified professional.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to purchase. By purchasing you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Purchases and access
Readings may be viewed in part for free. Full readings and AI interpretations are paid digital products, delivered immediately on payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, who appears on your statement and issues your invoice.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not resell, scrape, or bulk-extract readings or the underlying data.
- Do not use the Service to harass, defraud or make decisions about other people without their knowledge.
- Do not attempt to bypass paywalls or access controls.
6. Intellectual property
Classical source texts quoted in readings (the Book of Changes and traditional judgment literature) are in the public domain and are quoted as such. The software, compiled data sets, translations and page design are ours; the reading you purchase is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date below.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
